We are a newly restored free house in the heart of the East Devon countryside, serving affordable food and drink for all. The renewed hub of the village will be a place to make memories and somewhere to really enjoy your time with family and friends. We pride ourselves in providing the warmest of welcomes.

MEET THE TEAM​
Kevin - the landlord, born in Whimple Kevin had always dreamed of running a pub. When the opportunity to save the New Fountain, he purchased it and alongside his son Lee, restored and reinvigorated the New Fountain Inn for a new generation to enjoy.
Lee - our manger, licensee, and Kevin's son, Lee oversees the daily operation of the pub, and alongside the rest of the team provides a warm welcome to all of our guests at the bar. We are proud to announce that Lee is also a quarter finalist of the British Institute of Innkeeping Licensee of the Year awards 2026!

Kaya - our manageress, and Lee's partner, Kaya oversees the daily operation of the restaurant side of the pub, and ensures the kitchen and front of house run smoothly, to ensure a seamless experience for all of our guests.
